How much does Squarespace cost?
Squarespace pricing plans start at £10/month and go up to £30/month.
This includes a custom domain and hosting plan plus an SSL certificate – all you need if you decide to design your Squarespace website yourself. However, if you do choose my design services all clients receive 20% off their first year's hosting through my Squarespace Circle membership.
If you want to build a custom Squarespace website you pay Squarespace for hosting and a domain name. Below are the three packages I charge for custom Squarespace website design. These are designed to fit clients at different stages in their business development. The beauty of Squarespace is that wherever you’re at you can grow your site and add more features and pages as your business grows or requires change. Regardless of your design package, all websites are focused on your brand messaging and business goals. All professionally built by a Squarespace specialist, mobile-ready on all devices and include elements of custom design - meaning no two of my websites will ever look the same.
I also offer a one-page custom website design package which is best for start-ups and small businesses on a tight budget. One page sites cost £950 and can have more content, pages and functionality added when your business is ready.

We’ve developed a simple four-stage process that will ensure your website journey requires minimum effort on your part. It also guarantees you’ll get maximum value from your web design team.
Squarespace support and maintenance | £45 per hour
Need a website update but don't have the time to do it yourself? With my hourly support service I'll give you a firm quotation up front and take care of all your website changes, so you don't have to.
Google Search Console set-up | £60
Google Search Console is a free, powerful tool that helps you monitor your site's performance in Google search. You can learn more about how users are finding your site and generate ideas for improving content.
Managing your social icons | £30
When your social media channels change or need updating I’ll update or add new icons and links to keep your visitors in the conversation.
Website submission to Google and Bing | £30
Want your new site to show up in search results? Then I'll manually submit it to Google and Bing so you start getting search traffic sooner.
Google Analytics set-up | £60
Squarespace includes a free analytics tool and advanced features on advanced hosting plans. However, Google Analytics is a free must-have tool if you’re serious about understanding how visitors find and use your website.
Blog setup | £260
I’ll set up your blog page including creating your categories and tags. I’ll also take up to three blog posts from you, format these and upload them to your page. AND I’ll throw in some additional training, so you’re confident in adding posts in the future!

The £10/month plan is for Personal websites, which means you can’t do any custom coding. Because of this you are limited in your ability to customise the template design, branding and functionality of your website.
For a service-based business website the Business Plan is £15/month and it's the best option for anything without e-commerce.
The Basic and Advanced E-commerce plans are similar in that they both accommodate e-commerce websites. The key difference is that the Advanced plan allows you to sell subscriptions and you get some advanced promotional tools with it.

Squarespace is slightly more expensive than Wix and other website builders - but it's worth it! Squarespace offers superior quality and custom design of your website including its built-in marketing capabilities. Also, Squarespace support is absolutely free and second to none.

There are four main pricing plans with Squarespace: Personal, Business, Basic E-commerce and Advanced E-commerce. I usually recommend the Business plan. It’s $15/month (around £14/month) and allows us to fully customise your site and add unique features and functionality.

We sure do! The beauty of website development is we can work with businesses across the globe. Our proposals and invoices are quoted in British Pounds, but we also accept US Dollars and Euros.
