The Yarbridge Inn is a small family run establishment located in Brading on the Isle of Wight. Situated on the outskirts of Sandown it’s close to the Brading Roman Villa, Brading Station, Adgestone Vineyard as well as the beautiful Yaverland Beach. This award-winning pub/restaurant is an absolutely delightful dining experience. It’s a cosy little pub with an adjoining restaurant that also offers al fresco dining within a beautiful outside terrace. And when we say family run, it really is just that - Chef Mamma Fox and her son Richard lead the Cheffing Team and daughter Becky heads up the front of house.

THE CHALLENGE
Reflecting 40 years’ experience in the trade, the menu really sets the bar high in regards to offering a traditional and hearty taste of the Isle of Wight. This key factor really deserved maximum exposure. The Yarbridge Inn takes immense pride in using locally sourced ingredients wherever possible. Whether it’s for their scrumptious starters, marvellous mains or delightful desserts local produce is key. These products range from the award-winning Isle of Wight Cheese Company, freshly ground coffee by The IOW Espresso Co and to Becky’s own neighbour, Keith, who grows some of their vegetables and salad on his allotment. And let’s not forget the drinks! Tasty tipples from the Island’s finest Breweries and the famous Mermaids Gin Distillery feature prominently.
THE SOLUTION
We worked with The Yarbridge Inn on a website which would easily and creatively showcase their menus and delicious food. At the same time we made it dead easy for their customers to access this information. The solution? We created a clean and minimalist Squarespace website with an online table reservation system. This meant customers could book online on the go from their phones. We also optimised the site for search by incorporating keywords and phrases.
THE RESULT
Well, it must have worked because The Yarbridge Inn has seen thousands of hits on its Squarespace website since the online reservation feature rolled out in June 2021! The stats bear witness to its success, with the Yarbridge reporting a (add % increase) in bookings since June 2021.
