Our process.

A simple four-stage process will ensure your website journey requires minimum effort on your part whilst guaranteeing you get maximum value from your web designer.

Stage 1
Discovery call

This first stage is where we get to discuss what you’re looking for and for you to ask me any questions you have on your mind. We’ll talk about your budget, timeline and any expectations you might have regarding your website. I’ll explain the process and what we can offer. Then, if we both feel confident we’re a good fit and want to work together on your Squarespace website, I’ll prepare Stage 2.

Stage 2
Questionnaire

In Stage 2 I’ll guide you through a questionnaire that will give me the information needed to begin work on your website. Should you opt-out of our copywriting services, I can also guide you on creating content for your site.

Stage 3
Design and Launch

Once your questionnaire and website content is done we can agree on a start date for your website design and build a completion date. Stage 3 is creating your beautifully designed one-page search-optimised website which typically takes two weeks. Before the site launches you’ll preview it and we can discuss any revisions you would like to make. Once these are completed you’ll receive a unique login to view your site and sign off before going live.

Stage 4
Training and Aftercare

When your site goes live, Stage 4 kicks in. This phase of the project is your website training which will teach you how to update and maintain your website yourself. A two-week aftercare email support also starts at this point so you’ll have peace of mind knowing you’re not alone during this period.

Questions we’re frequently asked

  • We’ll agree on a provisional go-live date during our discovery call. However, we must have your website content and completed questionnaire back five working days before your site goes live.

  • It’s best to keep things simple, so we ask for a 50% deposit at the start and the remaining 50% when you sign off your site.

  • No problem! If your business is ready for a multi-page website package, you want more functionality or you have additional content requirements our bespoke Squarespace website package is just for you.

  • We sure do! The beauty of website development is we can work with businesses across the globe. Our proposals and invoices are quoted in British Pounds, but we also accept US dollars and Euros.

  • Your website is built on Squarespace, so you need to subscribe to a Squarespace hosting plan, these can start at just £10 a month. We’ll create your site on our account and, once we’re ready to go live, we’ll transfer ownership to you.
